We are off this weekend to help run a marriage preparation weekend for engaged couples. An opportunity for them to really hone their communication and understanding of each other to help build their relationship on a strong foundation. I work quite a lot with couple and I love this time of equipping and empowering them to have a set of tools that they can utilise in good times and bad.
One of my favourite tools for relationships whether between partners, parent/child or family (one guys I presented it to found it a real eye opener in how to deal with his in-laws!). It is a way of understanding how to demonstrate your love to those you love as we all like to receive love in different ways. You can take a look at it here:
