De-cluttering

clutterI was kindly asked whether I would do a guest post on the great My Zero Waste site/blog which is full of fabulous tips and ideas of how to minimise your impact to the environment.  I wrote about how de-cluttering hour home can make a positive difference to you emotionally.  You can see the article here.  Since writing the article I have been reading about some research carried out  by the University of Chicago that shows that when people pursued leisure activities that required lots of or expensive material resources they were significantly less happy than when doing things like talking to people, knitting, gardening or other things that require few material resources.  So, you think you need it to be happy, but you don’t!
